Hello and welcome to our studio site…
We are so excited to be part of one of the most creatively vibrant areas on the globe. Brooklyn has long been described as a place where diverse cultures come together and we surely reflect that convergence…you’ll see when you meet us. We’re two ceramic artists, in many ways opposites, and we’re having an amazing time working side by side and independently in our Sackett Street Ceramic Studio. We both make useful pots with white or red clay. We relish in the surfaces, using a variety of decorative techniques, colored slips and glazes, and sometimes words or images, dots or stripes… always with a sense of lightheartedness and sometimes a little irony.
That’s a little of our present bio…of course there’s a lifetime that came before to get us to this place…but we’re focusing on what’s going on now. We hope you’ll come visit us…
